Angler Automotive

Kirk Norkoski of Angler Automotive in Bellingham, WA was looking to create an online presence that stood out from many of the basic automotive shops on the web. He was looking to create an unique, professional, yet still playful website, while retaining the Angler fishing theme and showcasing their distinctive logo. Kirk wanted to increase his customer base in one most competitive fields that exists in a localized area, automotive repair - and do so without alienating his current clientele, or coming off as a stuffy, corporate presence.

Being marketing savvy, Kirk knew that to drive customers to his site, he would need to do more than just have a domain name. Choosing activities that he truly enjoyed and that would also help promote the shop, he began hosting a Saturday morning radio show on a local radio station, actively participating and promoting an environmentally sound recycling program at the shop, started a blog on WordPress, a fan page on FaceBook and began posting helpful automotive tips for his subscribers -- all with remarkable success. He is now the #1 Google ranked automotive repair shop in Whatcom County (organic listing) when searching for Auto Repair + Bellingham.

Anthropology Dept. at Western Washington University

The Anthropology Department at Western Washington University was in desperate need of a complete overhaul -- both in both looks and functionality. The Anthropology Department requested a site that could be easily updated as critical information changed quarterly and had plenty of room on the front page to add items and links as they became necessary. (So students and professors alike did not have to dig or spend time searching through the site for the information they needed repeatedly). They needed a traditional look, easy access & quick links to lots of information but yet also have a contemporary look about the site to attract the quality of technically-savvy students they desired for their program. We accomplished that and the accolades and gratitude of students and professors alike continues to roll in on a regular basis.

Becky Masters Massage Therapy

Becky Masters Massage Therapy

Becky was looking to create a website so that she could more accessible to her customers, giving them information about her business, services and prices around the clock. Her main goal for the website was to let potential clients know that she understood that a quality massage could be many things to many people, and that she had the skills, education, physical strength and communication abilities to provide a fantastic experience to any client she worked with.

Becky requested that we focus on testimonials (which she had an ample supply of) and the similarities between her athletic clients and herself (she marathons and also helps coach a marathon training program) so that they could understand that she knew about the sources of injuries that athletes tend to have and the challenges in working around and through them.

The site is a success. Customers continue to send in testimonials raving about her service, new customers tend to be athletic-minded individuals who appreciate her specialized knowledge and personal style, the website itself shows clients she's a professional in her field and everyone wins!

Bellingham Physical Therapy by WebsterGraphics.com

Bellingham Physical Therapy

Bellingham Physical Therapy is an established Bellingham business who was unhappy with the website company that they had original outsourced with. They did not want a cookie cutter template site that gave off strange noises with every click, fast moving, wiggling graphics or all the other bells and whistles that did not relate to their business or clientele.

We completely redesigned their site from top to bottom. We photographed equipment and the office on site as well as each employee and staff member of the office, incorporated a favorite local landmark (Mount Baker) in their header and rewrote the majority of the text in the site to better reflect their business mission statement and what it means to be local business in the Bellingham community for the last 30 years.

Their customers appreciate the familiarity of the people and the facility from the photos on the website as well as how easy the site is to navigate. The owners love the look of the site and how easy it is to work with us locally, versus dealing with a company outside the country. Ta-dah. Another win.

Glacier Lily Event Design

Glacier Lily Event Design

Renee Roberts of Glacier Lily Event Design was starting her own business after being in the catering and design field for years. Funds were limited, (as most new businesses starting out are) but she knew what her clients wanted to see in her online presence - the same elegance, professionalism and contemporary style they had come to expect from her services and events. WebsterGraphics.com delivered.

By using rich and vibrant photography and a simple one page design, we were able to convey Glacier Lily's impressive style of producing elegant, detailed and aesthetic stunning events. With a standalone page, we connected Renee's social media links (Blogger, Twitter and Facebook) that she is able to update her clients with regularly - without having to learn code, navigate through a content management system, or pay someone else to update photography or events. It was the perfect 'Stage One', multi-tiered solution for a business on a budget, but with big future plans.

Green Thumb Company by WebsterGraphics.com

Green Thumb Grounds Maintenance Company

Amy and Allen Harmon of Green Thumb Company in Ferndale, WA have been running a successful grounds maintenance business since 1988. Most of their business over the last 22 years had been from repeat clients, phone book advertising and through word of mouth. With the change in the economy, they came to realize that if they wanted to stay on top of the game and continue to be competitive in the market, they needed to modify their business model, and go online.

Having years of experience in Whatcom County with the differences in growing seasons, our unique weather patterns, knowledge of local vegetation and flora, as well as the challenges of pests/disease gave them a huge advantage over many other companies. The Harmons wanted to emphasize their experience in lawn maintenance and the differences between working with a professional, versus hiring Joe-Blow with a mower in the back of his truck. Their website was their vehicle of choice to get the word out about these differences including licensing and insurance.

The feedback from their customers was immediate and extremely positive. They've since added a Do-It-Yourself Blog with monthly updates about seasonal lawn care tips and keep in touch with their customers through a fan page on Facebook.

Hawleys Auto Supply by Webster Graphics.com

Hawley's Auto Supply

Lance Ballard, the owner of Hawley's Auto Supply in Ferndale, WA was receiving routine calls inquiring about the store hours and location on a regular basis. He felt his employees were spending more time picking up the phone to answer calls about basic things, more than they were able to spend talking to customers in the store - and that was not good customer service!

We put together a quick, personalized website with the most important information on the first page - so folks could have immediate answers to their questions - without digging around on the site.

The next stage for Hawley's is adding an ecommerce feature and an online catalog. With an online ecommerce store in place, customers will be able to purchase automotive parts (and have them delivered the next day) and Hawley's would have the capacity to generate sales 24/7.

That write up will be featured when it is finished...(to be continued later)

Pacific Rim Urology by WebsterGraphics.com

Pacific Rim Urology

Pacific Rim Urology located in Mount Vernon, WA needed to expand their presence online. They had several goals they wished to accomplish with their website and we were able to fullfil all of them.

1) They were planning to relocate and needed to alert their patients to the new office location; 2) they wished to give their clients a place to download forms prior to office visits; 3) they wanted a matching online presence to work with their new, updated logo & marketing collateral
4) they needed an online presence that conveyed warmth and friendliness with a modern style & contemporary design and yet be extremely approachable and "down to earth". Tall orders for the design crew!

We not only made that happen, but also were able to add consumer information and links to the site as well as incorporate patient education and billing information.

Warm, sincere, with a mix of stock art & custom photography - we gave Pacific Rim Urology an online presence exactly the way they envisioned it. Now if only we could reduce the commute for the employees...

Sibyl Sanford - SOuthBay Watercolors by Webster Graphics.com

Sibyl Sanford; South Bay Watercolors

Sibyl wanted a simple, clean website that would allow her customers to view her artwork quickly, without having to wait through an extensive load time. Sibyl had just published her new hardcover book and also wanted to give customers access to new paintings, to her custom portraiture business, as well as feature artwork that was not showcased in the book itself, all without having to compromise her personal privacy.

The completed website covered all the bases. We hand coded the slideshow to allow a quick and easy transition between her extensive collection of high resolution watercolor artwork and optimized the graphics to load quickly, yet still present an accurate representation of her work. To keep the site simple, yet relevant, we included a link to a local bookstore so folks wanting to purchase the book could do so - without Sibyl needing to set up a accounting system for credit cards or pay an unnecessary monthly fee. A custom email address allowed others to contact her at their convenience, while she could respond when she was available - this option also allowed her to keep her address and phone number private while still remaining accessible to customers.
